How Acupuncture works
Acupuncture works by stimulating the body’s healing responses or immune system. It is a therapy involving the insertion of needles (very thin, fine, sterilized, disposable and single-used) into acupuncture points of the body to stimulate invisible channels of Qi(there are 12 main meridians over the body). When the needle is inserted, the sensation is often described as tingling, heavy or dull ache.
During treatment, patients commonly experience a feeling of peace and relaxation.
The effectiveness in treating different diseases have been learnt through clinical practice of many centuries. In recent years, the effects of acupuncture treatment have been systematically refined and verified by modern scientific research.

How long is one session acupuncture treatment
About 30 minutes. In modern days it has been proved by the experimental acupuncture that the acupuncture treatment effect didn't do better regardless of less than 30 minutes or longer. However, it can be longer if the client does enjoy the relaxation during the treatment and keen to have it longer.
Does the acupuncture treatment hurt
Not really. Because the needles are very thin, fine, sterilized and very tiny, when you have it no pain at all.
